This was the scene Saturday in A's room as she was trying to make some progress on a reading assignment. I have to confess that I have never read Jane Eyre. However, if there is ever any one thing that will make me read Jane Eyre, it's in this photo. Or, correction, there are two things in this photo: my lovely daughter, and my charming cat. The two of them together are irresistable. The proximity of both to the book makes Jane Eyre infinitely more appealing. Sorry Jane...
